Handyman Harvest Ale Banner.png

An ale to showcase local cascade hops. When the time is right during the fall and the hops are ripe it becomes a full time commitment to harvest everything. Just like most handymen in the fall there is usually much more work available then workers to do the work.

Construction: 2 Row, Carafoam, Crystal med, US-05 Hops: Cascade pellets and fresh harvest hops

Brewers Notes: Our Wet hop ale is a very well balanced beer with a subtle caramel flavour, with 21lbs of fresh hops picked from a local hop yard used in the whirlpool. This beer gives the drinker a great opportunity to truly experience cascade hops.

Brute Force IPA Banner.png

Whether its at the jobsite or a project around the home, some tasks require Brut Force. With its full aroma hit and high carbonation this dry IPA (FG 1.000) will give you the BRUT FORCE needed to get the job done.

Construction: Pilsner, 2 Row, Munich, Flaked Corn, Wheat, Amylo 300, yeast US-05 Hops: Cascade, Nugget, Simcoe

Brewers Note: This Brut IPA has a very simple grain bill to keep the focus on the hops being used. We used nugget to give the base bitter in the beer, then using cascade as late additions in the boil and dryhops. A small amount of simcoe was added as a late dryhop to bump up the aroma. Using Amylo 300 enzyme to dry the beer out to zero worked better then expected, and this was also our first run through the brite with our new carbonation practice.

ABV: 6.4% SRM:3.7 IBU: actual calculation 18. (I feel it is closer to 40)
